momma and Savannah went home today. Steve and I went over and saw the two of them, both are doing well.

Savannah Elynn arrived on October 1, 2010 weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces 19 inches long. After a long labor she came out by c-section. Both momma and baby are doing well. They will be going home tomorrow and will come here so both Steve and I can hold her.

my youngest son Steve(18yrs old) picked out the material and the pattern for me to make his baby girl a quilt, I know, I know, I'm a little behind lol nothing like waiting til the baby is here to have it done lol, more to make after this one is completely done, I have another grand baby (boy) due in late November so I have to get on it next :)

little one is crystal that we took in and rescued. she was following my older cat around and was sooooo skinny and some goopy eyes, she wouldn't eat on her own so we had to feed her by dropper.

New Quilt pics

These are the most recent quilt tops I have done. They are not finnished. The snowball quilt i have to take the top row off and put one more row on the side. The quilt ended up being too long and not as wide as I like it.

My Quilts

I started quilting about 5 years ago. My mom is a quilter and has been for many, many years. She's the one that got me started quilting. I have never taken a quilting class. I just called my mom with my many questions. I don't have many pictures of my quilts. I didn't start taking pictures of my quilts until the last couple of years, even then I didn't take many pictures.
